This is my project, I reworked my whole story and got rid of 5 minuets of art and animation and started from the beginning so it flows better.
This is what I made within a week and a half.

I wanted to challenge myself more on this project, so for my story I picked an inanimate object and decided to theme it to a hobby I knew nothing about.

My what if is: "What if a lucky penny didn't feel so lucky"

I had so much fun working on this project!

I've never drawn this much before or really animated anything, so learning new skills to bring this story to life was the best part of it all :)

I researched a lot about coin collecting during the 9 weeks. I was going to make my penny be a very shiny proof strike coin, but then 2 weeks before the deadline I decided my story wasn't flowing correctly so I started back at the beginning.

An older gentleman from my church that I was friends with inspired my character Pennie and her story.  He passed away during the making of this project. So as a small thank you to him, for always opening the front door for me and making my Sundays nice, even on days when I wasn't feeling well, for him I've added a small little scene between Pennie and the grandpa in "The Late Guest". He would always tell me,

"When ever you walk through that door you always have a smile on your face. There’s just this sweet and happy glow about you. It always makes my day whenever I see it. Don’t ever lose your light."
-Brother Fowler

The moral of my story is: make someone's day better because you are in it.

I loved finding out that some of the men who made the rare steel bronze 1943 wheat pennies, would give them to a woman in their life who they loved dearly. So from there my story grew.

I learned so much and loved taking this program! It has inspired me to start making more videos like this now that I know what I am capable of in such a short amount of time :)

I love this video! It is to me, my most favorite thing I've made so far. What I really do love about my project, is as the video goes on, you can actually see my art and character concept progress. Through the process I start figuring out what I'm doing and gain more confidence in it. Heads up, it is very rough.:) There are some small mistakes with pacing/editing and a misspelled word, but for me on my journey in this craft, I think that's what gives it its charm :)

🍀 Special thanks to my youngest sister, @thelexitrax, for being my live model for this project!

and my friend Elaine Tosado for her two cents on the project :)

A very very special thanks to my mom, @nictrax, for her encouragement, love, and always supporting me on everything I've wanted to do, it's what got me to where I am now. 🍀

This is where the special thanks would go!  I’m assuming they will be a little longer this week, therefore, I designed extra space for them. If there is far more description and special thanks then there is space, this entire box becomes scrollable.

Special Thanks:
