Hi Sean! You're doing great, I know you can do it. I really like a lot of your character posing, I think the one where Harvey's performing for the kids is really great! I really enjoy your establishing shots as well. Looking forward to seeing how this conflict resolves. Best of luck!

Sean, no worries about this being Act one. This is a marathon, and you are doing great.

I really like the duality of your main character, Harvey. His need to create a good self-image by being altruistic and entertaining is nicely countered by his fear for any real relationships. This is a wonderful set up for him and his journey. The world-building is solid and I like the divide between the humans and animals, with the animals not having the resources the humans have. The heist is also a great use of Harvey's duality.

One thing that was unclear is Harvey's overall arc. The beginning does a good job of laying out who Harvey is, but it isn't fully clear what he wants and how the heist is going to challenge him internally and externally. On a macro level, his need to go on the heist is clear, but what isn't clear is what personally pushes him over the edge ( friends in need? Children? The only people he cares about?) Clarifying the philosophical stakes for him can help smooth out this portion of the story and the consequences he will have to deal with in acts two and three.

One suggestion that came to mind was having the first heist be a success, but Harvey is drawn into more dangerous jobs. This is a great story and it is full of potential. I hope you keep developing this because you have a very keen sense of ethics and you have built a very engaging world. Great work and I wish you the best with your creating :)

Hi Sean!!

I wanted to start off by saying to not be down about only being able to submit one act; I was only able to submit act one as well! Though the program may be coming to a close, we can always come back into the website and edit our exhibition pages while we continue to keep working on our stories! In my opinion, you did a wonderful job with what you did submit! Never give up!

Extremely rough version of Act One. I admitedlly could've handled my time a lot better and Acts 2 and 3 are still in rough, unfinished states. Still, I like what I've done so far and it's my aim to finish what I've started, even if it takes a month :)

This is where the special thanks would go!  I’m assuming they will be a little longer this week, therefore, I designed extra space for them. If there is far more description and special thanks then there is space, this entire box becomes scrollable.

Special Thanks:
