Your drawing style is really nice! I think you found a great balance between using visuals and narration. You've developed a strong main character in whom the audience can feel invested. Congrats!

Hi Adri, Congratulations on your great story!! Valerie’s struggle and triumph over it was so sweet!!
You present her adventure very clearly and concisely; and Valerie’s fear was very close to home(pushing forward even when you're terrified is such a good lesson), Your artwork was so good and showed each story beat and Valerie’s emotions/actions nicely, Valerie running toward the shell was a great example of pursuing goals outside of one's comfort zone. Her getting over fear and growing her collection of shells was a satisfying conclusion and reward for her bravery! I'd love to see this as an animated short:)Wonderful job!

I find this story really compelling because it speaks to people about achieving the things they want only if they break out of their fear. Valerie's character design is super cute and I am glad that she got her most sought after shell in the end. I also really like how you use blue as one of your main tones throughout the story, really keeps up with the ocean theme. This is amazing!

I like the moral of the story, and showing the audience the benefit of going outside of their usual comfort zone. I really enjoyed the setting and action choices displayed in your drawings. The poses were dynamic, and really helped give a sense of motion when needed. Great story!

Nice job Adri! I like your drawings and Valerie has a very clear character arc! I think we can all relate to being afraid of something and building it up in her heads to be much scarier than we thought it would be.

I really enjoyed it, nice work!

Hi Adri, I love your story!
I really felt for Valerie when she was trying to get the seashell and when she seeming failed to get it.
I also liked how your story reminded me a little of the Pixar short Piper (which is my favorite short)
Great work, and I hope you'll be creating many many more stories!

Valerie loved to collect seashells, but she was also terrified of getting near the ocean....until something special changed her mind.

This is where the special thanks would go!  I’m assuming they will be a little longer this week, therefore, I designed extra space for them. If there is far more description and special thanks then there is space, this entire box becomes scrollable.
