This is awesome! I like the story, sound effects and compositions. It was hard to read the text in time, so I had to pause. Other than that, nice job!

I'm loving the overall premise and idea of your film. The creepiness and horror aspects always speak to me and so I can respect in its entirety. The fact your art is animated sometimes as well definitely adds an appealing touch to the eyes. Only concern was the slides were moving a little too fast to read the subtext, however the plot and storyline still seem great! Great job both of your for making it this far and putting some hard work into this project! I can't wait to see your finalized product!!

I really like what you've got so far, I love the characters' expressions and the story you have are revealing. You also did a great job with the lighting! My only issue is that the frames go by so fast that I couldn't read the text and I wasn't able to examine each frame's details. Good job otherwise! :)

I remember seeing this. I really enjoyed your trailer. I think it might have helped if you did the voice over, since the subtitles were going so fast. I wonder how Sammy will overcome being the overlooked child. Amazing job on making it this far.

I totally agree on the voice over. I got all of the characters voices except Sammy's, so I called an audible. I will definitely shape this up and add voices. Thanks so much for your help, I appreciate it!

I really enjoyed the premise of it, and the sounds definitely add to the atmosphere of the work. I really wish I was able to see the whole story, as I recall from watching the Act 1 there were many cool things in store. Good job!

I apologize about not having more to show. I was working on a bigger reel, but COVID got me down really good and I am still recovering so I had to improvise. It was fun making a teaser though I know it is really rough and choppy. The good news is thanks to your feedback and the feedback of others, I'm already scripting this and it is going well. I appreciate all of your analysis and kind words, they have been very helpful during this process.

Hey, no problem at all! Hopefully you're feeling better. Like I am sure I said before, I really enjoyed the supernatural/spooky vibe of your story, and it's interesting that in Act 2 your heroine starts acting exactly like her dad, making promises and then just not showing up or putting effort. It was a nice psychological touch!

Yay! I'm so glad you noticed that! To me that is her true wish, to be accepted by her dad, but the cost is way more than she anticipates. I am feeling better, thank you, it has been a crazy couple of weeks.

It's impressive that you've made a feature film and this is only a teaser.

I'm curious how characters and curses will be connected and developed in the feature!

A few comments:
your art is very consistently recognizable. The shot at 0:13 is amazing; very telling. The following shot is tangibly sad.
The shot of Friday the 14th (very ominous not the 13th^^) has a lot of character, with that sad smiley as well.
In some shots, the text is difficult to read.
From 0:35 onward, the shots are a bit fast..
It's verry relatable that her reaction is "what has Sammy done?" it being in particular Sammy! The images of him and the smaller kids surrounding is fun and makes me want to see more.
"going to be a scary YEAR" ah, year? Cool!
