IDA and Klaus, a married couple of 41 years homed at a senior living centre find
themselves to be thrown into their last
adventure together. The couple somehow
becomes part of a living chess game as the
role of king and queen to the "tan" troop who are looked down upon as the "misfits"
compared to the Navy troop. Suddenly before the battle of a lifetime begins Klaus is brought out of what he didn't recognize was his imagination as back into reality, this time without his wife. This relationships hurdles suddenly begin to make complete sense one Klaus realizes that for the past few years he has not been bonding with who he thought was Ida, he had been bonding with what his imagination had left of her.
